I have good news about our ongoing Scrip fundraising program. You can now order your merchant gift cards online!

The current company we use, GLScrip, now allows you to place an order online and it will link that order to our Troop so that your Scout and the Troop benefit.

What's in it for you?! Each merchant gives a "rebate" back...varying percentages by merchant. 70% of that profit will go into your son's Scout account with the Troop! 30% will go into our Troop's general budget.

So, beginning in February, you will have 3 ways to order Scrip.

1. Order online at www.shopwithscrip.com. Payment is made through their program called "PrestoPay" which allows you to authorize a checking account debit for a nominal processing fee of $ .39 for your payment.
OR
2. You can place the order online but give our Scrip coordinator the check and she can "release" the order once payment is received.
OR
3. You can turn in a written order form using our Troop's Excel sheet and check payment. In turn, our Scrip coordinator will place an order "by proxy" for you online.

PLUS, once you get a card from GLScrip, you can reload many of the cards online using www.shopwithscrip.com.

All pending orders should be placed or turned in by the first meeting of the month. Orders will be "released" or approved by the Troop's Scrip Coordinator by the middle of that week. The cards will be distributed at the third Troop meeting of the month. This excludes cards you reload along the way.

As a first time online user, you will need to register and then there will be 6 easy ways to order at Shopwithscrip.com from your family homepage you'll learn about including setting up your customized list of favorites.

To enroll for shopwithscrip go to http://www.shopwithscrip.com. Go to the Family Sign up and using the enrollment code of BD8ED13E16564 click on "Create Account". Fill in all of the required information and click "I Accept".
